If you would like to enroll in the up coming Take-A-Kid Fishing
Program--2009 click here print out the form. Mail as instructed. If you have questions you can e-mail: bemidji.takf@gmail.com for help. The cost to fish is $0 (zero). Yup, that's right it cost the kids nothing to go fishing for a day.
Family Affair!
Take-A-Kid Fishing is for boys and girls. The only requirement is
|that you are between the ages of 10-15 and have a parents (or legal guardians) signature. It is a fun-filled day that ends with a family fish fry at the State Park in Bemidji. This fish fry is prepared by a group from Bemidji call the "Fish Fryers" and many other volunteers. They are prepared for all weather, and the family is invited to participate. This is where you retrieve your children after the fishing event and have a delicious fish dinner.
